Our Adoption Process

 We strive to make lifelong partnerships with dogs and their humans.  Our animals live in homes, with families so we know them well, and the home environment they would do best in.  

Adoption Questionnaire

Adoption Fees

Our adoption fees generally run from $50-300.   Our higher adoption fees are for puppies or younger non shedding dogs.  Higher adoption fees help offset the costs of our senior and medical cases.

Home Visit

With a few exceptions, we will schedule a home visit.  We are not there to check housekeeping, but to make sure the yard is safe, pool is fenced, and there are ho escape routes in the home or yard.

Return Policy

We believe adoption is a commitment that shouldn't be taken lightly, so we do not offer refunds on fees if an animal is returned.  We do offer a credit toward the adoption of another animal for 30 days.
